LiesEvery time we talk I have to lie. Every time you look at me with those beautiful green eyes of your and ask me questions about my life, about how I’m doing, I lie. Because I have to. Because the truth would make you look at my differently. Because I know that I will never be good enough for the truth to make a difference. Which is why I dread the day that you ask me, again, who I’m interested in, and I lie and say no one, again. I dread it the most because the look on your face when I give you that lie gives me a hope I don’t want to disappoint me. That’s why every single time we talk I have to lie.Lies
epiphanyShe reread every paragraph on the computer screen before her. Each word cut deeper into her until she felt like she was suffocating. Her chest tightened until she thought she felt the workings of an anxiety attack, and each 'I'm sorry' she typed in the message that would never be sent made it worse. He was a writer, the 'he' being the man who currently held all of her affections, and he'd written a story that very obviously had everythign to do with her. The way the man it was going to propose. The way he kept saying he couldn't live without her and he would do anything to prove his love if she would forgive him.epiphany

Endlessly doesn't exist.I'm not the nicest person you've ever met. You just haven't seen the mean side of me; the side everyone else gets to see. I make fun of anyone and everyone I see that's not a friend of mine, despite the fact that I myself have no reason to. I laugh when most girls gasp or turn away, and I don't cry at those ramance movies because I feel sorry for the girl in them. I cry because I feel sorry for me. What does that mean for you?
